Declaration of architectural accessibility of buildings of the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of Bialystok University of Technology

The facility consists of 3 parts: A (4 floors connected by an elevator), B (2 floors connected by an elevator – technical rooms in the basement), Inno Eko Tech, (5 floors connected by an elevator – technical room in the basement).
Parking places for people with disabilities are designated: 2 parking places behind the Inno Eko Tech facility, approx. 25 meters from the entrance equipped with a ramp.
The stairs at the entrances from the front of the building are equipped with handrails on both sides.
The ramps for wheelchair users are located:
- at both entrances from the front of Part A;
- at the entrance at the back of the Inno Eko Tech building.
The main door to part A and the Inno Eko Tech building is opened automatically.
Inside the building there are:
- toilets for people with disabilities in the basement in part A, ground floor in part B and ground floor in the Inno Eko Tech building;
- a lift into part A, automatically opening doors, voice notifications, Braille key markings;
- a lift in part B; doors open automatically, no voice notifications and key signage in Braille alphabet;
- a lift in part C ; doors open automatically, marking of keys in Braille alphabet
- stairs in part A by the elevator equipped with handrails on both sides, other staircases in the building are not equipped with handrails on both sides.
Chairs for the evacuation of people with disabilities are located on all floors in part A and Inno-Eko-Tech near elevators.
You can enter the facility with an assistance dog (except for laboratory rooms).
Facility maps are available in the Zonifero application.
The university provides access to the Migam sign language interpreter service (in Polish), the service is active from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
The inductophonic loop is located in the lecture hall B. The stationary inductophonic loop is located in the dean’s office, room 12.
Room markings in braille were placed above the room handles.

The facility is to be subject to modernization works increasing the availability of, among others: additional parking places.
The University’s facilities are not equipped with information systems for people with sensory disabilities, including guidance lines and attention fields, sound information systems.
