Academic year is divided into two semesters of fifteen weeks:

• winter semester – from October to the end of January
• spring semester – from February to the end of June

Each term is followed by the examinations (repeat examinations) held in February, June (September).

Holidays:

• Christmas time (December)
• half-term between the semesters (February)
• Easter time
• public holidays: All Saints’ Day – 1 November, Independence Day – 11 November, New Year’s Day – 1 January, Labour Day – 1 May, Constitution Day – 3 May.
