The administrator, pursuant to art. 37 (1) (a) GDPR, appointed the Data Protection Officer, with whom you can contact in matters related to the processing of personal data by e-mail at: iod@pb.edu.pl.
We process your personal data because:
In specific situations, there may also be other reasons for data processing, i.e. your consent to the extent and for the purpose provided in the content of the consent – art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR.
If correspondence is sent to us by e-mail, by traditional means or by telephone, not related to the services we provide or in connection with the contract concluded with us, the personal data contained in this correspondence is processed only for the purpose of communication and settling the matter to which the correspondence relates. The legal basis for data processing is art. 6 (1) (e) GDPR.
Your personal data will be stored for the periods necessary to achieve the above-mentioned purposes, for the period resulting from the provisions of the law on archiving or until your consent is withdrawn.
Personal data will be made available to authorized employees of Bialystok University of Technology and may be made available to entities authorized under the law, as well as other entities that process personal data on the basis of relevant agreements signed with Bialystok University of Technology, whose administrator is Bialystok University of Technology.

Providing your personal data by you, depending on the purpose and legal basis for the processing of personal data, may be a statutory or contractual requirement or a condition for concluding a contract.
If you send correspondence to us by e-mail, by traditional means or by phone, not related to the services we provide or any other contract concluded with us, providing data is a contractual requirement and you are obliged to provide it. The consequence of not providing personal data will be the inability to settle the matter to which the correspondence relates.
The University does not process your personal data in a manner based on automated decision-making, including profiling.
Detailed information on: the legal grounds and purpose of processing your personal data, recipients of data, the period of their storage, your rights, any obligation to provide them and the potential consequences of not providing data will be provided to you at the time of obtaining data for a specific purpose.
