Laboratories constitute an excellent apparatus base, which, combined with excellent scientific staff, create favourable conditions for innovation.

The Bialystok University of Technology pays special attention to research that respond to the specific requirements of various branches of industry, which constitute its environment.

We have over 120 unique research laboratories at our disposal, which, thanks to the research carried out there, contribute to the development of the modern world every day.

The results of scientific research carried out at the University of Technology are used in industry, help improve living standards, respond to the needs of civilisation and contribute to the sustainable development of the region and the country.

The University’s scientists willingly get involved in the implementation of various projects, which are particularly important for the development of the economy. The University supports interdisciplinary research by forming research consortia with other scientific units.

In addition, the university focuses on pro-innovative research that serves to build the competitiveness of the region. In order to build lasting cooperation between science and business, a special purpose vehicle was established – Institute of Innovation and Technology of the Bialystok University of Technology sp. z o.o. The Institute ensures comprehensiveness, high quality of final products and services and the scientific nature of cooperation. It has the status of Research and Development Centre (CBR).
