The project is implemented under the Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2014-2020, Priority 2. Efficient management of natural resources, Measure 2.1 Clear waters: To increase efficiency of water management for reduced nutrient inflows and decreased discharges of hazardous substances to the Baltic Sea and the regional waters based on enhanced capacity of public and private actors dealing with water quality issues.

The aim of the project is to improve the efficiency of wetland management in the Nemunas catchment area in Belarus, Lithuania, Russia and Poland, as well as to develop strategic and operational plans to reduce the load of biogenic compounds flowing from the Nemunas catchment area to the Baltic Sea.

The project is implemented under the Interreg Baltic Sea Region 2014-2020, Priority 1. Potential for innovation, Measure 1.2. Smart specialization. The ‘GoSmart&Excel BSR’ is the extension of the regular “GoSmart BSR” project and strengthens the utilisation of key outcomes of the regular project. It allows practical application of Transnational S3 methodology and Transnational Innovation Brokerage System based on joint evaluation and sustainability planning by the project partners.
The Project implemented as part of the Polish Road Map for Research Infrastructure (currently Strategic Research Infrastructure). EMC – LabNet is a joint venture of research and development units and universities operating in various regions of Poland, which have significant research infrastructure and the greatest scientific potential and experience in research in the field of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC), including the property of devices, systems and installations: military , aviation, maritime, telecommunications, ICT, electricity, general use, as well as in the field of protection against electromagnetic phenomena and information leakage through the emission of electromagnetic disturbances.
The project implemented under Measure 4.2 of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, has been included on the Polish Road Map for Research Infrastructures.

The main goal of the project is to increase the competitiveness of the scientific community and the economy, with particular emphasis on SMEs, on international markets. Thanks to the implementation of development works, it is planned to improve the position of the Polish ICT sector by supporting and strengthening the development of innovative solutions.

The project is implemented under Measure 4.4 of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020.

The main goal of the project is the biosynthesis and characterization of the properties of new hierarchical ZnO, Ag and silica nanostructures doped with transition metal ions and nanoparticles by the cultivation of selected types of diatoms as a starting point, physicochemical characterization and application in the field of cosmetic and nutritional applications.

The aim of the project is to create an intelligent, integrated water and wastewater management system based on the innovative GIS 3D system and hydrodynamic modeling of water distribution and wastewater systems. The subject of the research is the municipal water supply network and the household and economic sewage system in Polanica-Zdrój. The subject scope includes: construction of a simulation system for the operation of the water supply network, construction of a simulation system for the operation of the domestic and economic sewage system, construction of system operation scenarios in the conditions of city development and climate change, multi-criteria assessment of the economic efficiency of systems operation, taking into account social and environmental criteria, development of an integrated system management system taking into account the guidelines to increase the efficiency of its operation and work safety. Conducting computer simulations of the water network operation is to help find a method and a way to improve the quality of water supplied by the water network.

The project is implemented under Measure 4.1.4 Scientific research and development works of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020.

The aim of the project is to comprehensively develop an innovative technology of compact jet scrubbers dedicated to use in large maritime units. The technology will be experimentally validated under operational conditions in order to achieve the IX technological readiness level.

The project is implemented under Measure 4.2 of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020, co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund.

The project involves the construction of new, unique research laboratories and the use of the existing national PIONIER fiber optic network. The main assumption of the PIONIER-LAB project, which is included in the Polish Roadmap for Research Infrastructure, is to provide a platform for research units, entrepreneurs and other entities interested in conducting scientific research and development works. As part of the PIONIER-LAB project, it is planned to establish 8 specialized laboratories.

The aim of the project is to develop an innovative ICT solution (process innovation), i.e. a set of instruments enabling the optimization of operational processes based on the deep integration of business software, devices produced during industrial research (product innovation – ultrasonic water meters, pressure meters and concentrators with LoRaWAN communication) and analytical tools made based on the research and development work carried out.

The project is implemented under Measure 1.1.1 Industrial research and development works carried out by enterprises of the Operational Programme Smart Growth 2014-2020.

The aim of the project is to construct a Reconfigured Aircraft Power Supply System 270V d.c.-28V d.c. mainly characterized by: the possibility of supply from three AC voltage standards, i.e. 400V / 50Hz, 480V / 60Hz, 200V / 400Hz and a larger number of aircraft serviced.

The aim of the project is an in-depth analysis of traditional oil painting, examining the physical, measurable properties of each component (paints, brushes, supports, solvents) and the ways of their use in the creative process, and then developing software that will faithfully transfer the glaze painting technique (MTL) to the digital world.

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Infrastructure and Environment 2014-2020, Priority: I Reducing the emissions of the economy, Measure: 1.3 Supporting energy efficiency in buildings, Sub-measure: 1.3.1 Supporting energy efficiency in public buildings.

The aim of the project is the comprehensive thermal modernization of 2 buildings of Bialystok University of Technology: the General Technical Building in parts A, B and C (BO) and the building of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in parts A and B (WM). The project provides for activities aimed at increasing the energy efficiency of modernized buildings, reducing heat losses through transmission and ventilation.

The aim of the project is to increase the accessibility of Bialystok University of Technology for people with disabilities in six key areas, which will be achieved by introducing modifications to higher education procedures, improving communication and architectural accessibility, adapting the administered websites and IT tools to the needs of students with disabilities and improving the competences of the university staff in terms of accessibility.

Aim of the project: participation in the most important autonomous sumo robot competition – the 31st edition of the All Japan Robot-Sumo Tournament in Japan, where the members of the project (SumoMasters team) will again try to win and become the best team in the world in 2017.

Purpose of the project:
The main goal of the project is the participation of students in subsequent editions of the prestigious student construction competition, where they will be able to present proprietary solutions from the domain of remotely controlled and autonomous mobile robotic platforms.
In particular, the trips to the Canadian International Rover Challenge 2021 in Canada and the European Rover Challenge 2021 (to which the team has been preparing for over a year), which are part of the Rover Series – a series of Mars rover analogues competitions, are important.
The project “CMS-07 Cerber Motorsport – participation in the international Formula Student competition and scientific conference” received funding from Priority axis III, Higher education for the economy and development, Measure 3.3 Internationalization of Polish higher education of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 as part of the invitation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education to submit offers for conceptual non-competition projects entitled “The best of the best! 4.0.”

The aim of the project is the participation of students of the Cerber Motorsport team in 3 prestigious international engineering competitions Formula Student organized in the 2021 season and the presentation of proprietary design solutions at an international scientific conference.

The project received funding from Priority axis III, Higher education for the economy and development, Measure 3.3 Internationalization of Polish higher education of the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020 as part of the invitation of the Minister of Science and Higher Education to submit offers for conceptual non-competition projects entitled “The best of the best! 4.0.”

The aim of the project is the participation of members of the Robotics Student Assocciation from the SumoMasters team in the International Economic Forum and three international robotic competitions, which have a chance to take place in 2021. The selected events are considered the largest robotic competitions in the world: Robotex (Tallinn, Estonia), Robomotion (Rzeszów, Poland) and All Japan Robot-Sumo Tournament (Tokyo, Japan).

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Knowledge Education Development co-financed by the European Union from the European Social Fund under the Operational Program Knowledge Education Development 2014-2020, Priority Axis III Higher education for economy and development, Measure 3.4 Management in higher education institutions.

The project envisages raising competences by min. 48 academic teachers of Bialystok University of Technology in the field of universal design. Under the project, support will be provided for min. 60 academic teachers of Bialystok University of Technology. All academic teachers who will receive support under the project and improve their competences in the field of the ability to apply the principles of universal design in the education process will be obliged to conduct classes with students, i.e. to translate the acquired knowledge into practice for at least one semester (completed or started during project implementation). The implementation of the project will result in the modification of study programmes and introduction of an education offer related to Universal Programming (PU), which will be available as part of the BUT didactic offer.

The project is implemented under the Operational Programme Eastern Poland, Priority axis I: Entrepreneurial Eastern Poland, Measure 1.1. Start-up platform for new ideas.

Project goal: to create in the province of Podlaskie Voivodeship, favorable conditions for the emergence and development of innovative enterprises, through the implementation of a professional start-up incubation programme.

The project implemented according to the co-financing agreement no. POPC.02.03.01-00-0063/18-00 of February 28, 2019, under Measure 2.3 “Digital accessibility and utility of the public sector”, Sub-measure 2.3.1 “Digital access to public sector information from administrative sources and science resources”, project type II: digital access to science resources of the Operational Programme Digital Poland.

The objective of the “e-Forest” project is to create a platform supporting the development of open and modern science based on the development of open software with a repository for publishing natural data, including scientific data, from the Białowieża Primeval Forest and the creation of additional IT tools enabling the public and scientists to reuse these data. The project will be addressed to groups related to the scientific, educational, administrative, business and non-governmental environment, as well as citizens who want to expand their interests.

The project is implemented under Priority axis II, E-administration and open government, Measure 2.4. Creation of services and applications using public e-services and public sector information of the Operational Programme Digital Poland.

The objective of the project is to provide recipients of the new MobiBIP mobile application with access to public sector information, mainly published in the BIP systems, and to provide the e-service of an advanced public sector information search engine. The project includes the development of new software and the construction of a mobile application.

The work was commissioned by Marine Projects LTD Sp. z o.o. as part of the project: “Creation of an innovative system for the production of cold from a heat recovery system on vessels” project no.: RPPM.01.01.01-22-0067/16-00.

The aim of the project is to conduct research on the creation of a prototype of a system for the production of cold from a heat recovery system on vessels.
The project is an excellent example of an industrial application with strong implementation potential. At the same time, it combines all the positive aspects of environmentally safe cold generation using clean technology and meeting all standards for the use of ecological working agents.

The work commissioned by Marani Sp. z o.o. as part of the project: “Development of two prototypes of cooling systems using waste heat with a thermal power of 600 kW and 200 kW adapted to the temperature of chilled water and high-temperature cooling”.

Subject of the contract: Subcontracting of a part of substantive works including industrial research and development works in the scope of design calculations for jet cooling systems, development of prototype solutions of two cooling systems and evaluation of the operation of two prototype systems in the installation of Marani Sp. z o.o.

The work commissioned by Klimor S.A. under the project: “Technology of hybrid refrigeration systems for air conditioning systems”.

Subject of the contract: Realization of research tasks, including design calculations for hybrid jet-compressor cooling systems, development of prototype solutions for a series of hybrid refrigeration systems and preliminary evaluation of the work of a prototype hybrid system.

The work commissioned by IBC Group Central Europe Holding S.A. under the project: “Smart Panel II – qualitative research and analysis for the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process.”

Subject of the contract: Cooperation in the implementation of the order of the Polish Agency for Enterprise Development “Smart Panel II – qualitative research and analysis for the needs of the Entrepreneurial Discovery Process.”

The project “Increasing the quality and internationalization of scientific research at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology” under the Regional Initiative of Excellence Programme.
The main objective of the project: to contribute to the intensive development of universities that stand out in the regions in terms of research potential in individual scientific disciplines.

Thanks to the co-financing, it will be possible to achieve three goals:

  • raising the level of scientific research,
  • increasing the importance of research in the international scientific community,
  • increasing the impact of scientific research on the functioning of the socio-economic environment in the regions.
The project provides for the implementation of two courses: one for students of BUT and other universities, and the other as workshops for secondary school students (selected senior students by teachers of mathematics, computer science, physics, …).

The objective of the project is to develop modern technological solutions dedicated to the prevention of the spread of SARS-CoV2 in a medical facility, which are to contribute to increasing the safety of staff and patients of the hospital transformed into an infectious disease homogenous hospital.

The project is implemented under the action M16 – “Cooperation” Agency for Restructuring and Modernization of Agriculture, within the 2014-2020 Rural Development Programme for Poland.

The main objective of the project is to improve the efficiency of cultivating the medicinal plant Rhodiola rosea L. by using the biotechnological method of microclonal reproduction of rare plant species as well as the significantly improved technology of cutting and drying the raw material – rhizomes with roots. The subsequent goal is to develop and implement innovations in the field of a new product – Rhodiola rosea L. extract.

A pilot project on the development of R&D cooperation between business and universities is carried out under the Regional Operational Programme of the Podlaskie Voivodeship for 2014-2020.

The main objective of the pilot project is to build a partnership (system) under which stronger and closer ties between universities and regional entrepreneurs, NGOs and business environment institutions will be built to increase the competitiveness of Podlaskie enterprises. Therefore, the main target groups are entrepreneurs from Podlasie, universities and other business environment entities.

The project is financed by the National Center for Research and Development under the Accessibility Plus Programme.

The aim of the project is to develop a system of electronic monitoring of people with special needs during evacuation from buildings in which they are staying. The system will consist of a set of local reference stations communicating with portable devices constituting the personal equipment of the monitored person. In the event of an alarm signal indicating the occurrence of a dangerous situation, the personal device will inform about the need to start the evacuation process. At the same time, the evacuated person will be located by local reference stations, and information about their location will be made available to the head of rescue operations and to the relevant building services.

The project is financed by the National Center for Research and Development under the Accessibility Plus Programme.

The aim of the project is to develop and manufacture a mechatronic device designed to support the balance in the daily functioning of the elderly. The designed device will be able to record the kinematic parameters of the human body, capture symptoms of loss of balance and support people with imbalances by activating compensation mechanisms.
