Declaration of architectural accessibility of the building of the Centre for Modern Education of Bialystok University of Technology

The facility consists of 4 floors connected by elevators.
Parking spaces for people with disabilities are designated:
- at the zero level from the campus side, two parking places, near the main entrance,
- at level -1, at the entrance from Świerkowa St., seven parking places, at the side entrance.
The main entrance from the campus side from level zero.
The entrance from the back of the building with stairs equipped with handrails, has an external cabin lift next to the stairs, inside the cabin there is marking in Braille alphabet.
The door to the building on the ground floor level opens automatically.
Inside the building:
- toilets for people with disabilities are located on all floors in both wings of the facility,
- 3 elevators equipped with automatic opening doors, key markings in Braille alphabet, (the elevator in the library is available to people with an access card),
- stairs equipped with handrails on both sides.
Evacuation chairs are located near staircases on the floors in both wings of the building.
You can enter the facility with an assistance dog.
The building is not equipped with an information system for people with sensory disabilities.
Facility maps are available in the Zonifero application.
The university provides access to the Migam sign language interpreter service, the service (in Polish) is active from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.

The gatehouse and cloakroom are located on the ground floor.
The inductophonic loop is installed in room P2/19 of the Foreign Language Centre, the stationary inductophonic loops are installed in the Centre for Student Affairs, Education and Admissions P1/07 (floor 1), the secretary office of the Foreign Language Centre, P2/12 (floor 2) and in the Library: General Lending Room (ground floor), Information Room (ground floor), Book Reading Room (floor 1).
Braille signage will be placed above the room handles.
The facility is to be subjected to modernization works increasing accessibility: improving the marking of parking places.
The University’s facilities are not equipped with information systems for people with sensory disabilities, including guidance lines and attention fields, sound information systems.
