Declaration of architectural accessibility of the ‘Assistants’ Hostel of Bialystok University of Technology

The building consists of 12 floors, in the basement there are technical rooms.
The entrance to the building is equipped with ramps for wheelchair users, the stairs are equipped with handrails on both sides.
The door to the building does not open automatically.
There are 3 elevators in the facility, each of them is opened manually. There are no voice notifications and key signage in Braille.
You can enter the facility with an assistance dog.
The university provides access to the Migam sign language interpreter service (in Polish), the service is active from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
The station inductophone loop is installed in the Chancellor’s secretary office, room 1.
Braille signage will be placed above the room handles.

The staircases in the building are not equipped with handrails on both sides.
The facility is to undergo modernization works to increase accessibility: designation of a parking place for people with disabilities, construction of a toilet adapted for people with disabilities on the ground floor.
The University’s facilities are not equipped with information systems for people with sensory disabilities, including guidance lines and attention fields, sound information systems.
