Declaration of architectural accessibility of buildings of the Faculty of Architecture of Bialystok University of Technology

The campus of the Faculty of Architecture consists of 2 facilities: a didactic building with a hall and the building of the Laboratory of Energy-Saving Architecture and Renewable Energy.
Didactic building and hall of the Faculty of Architecture
A parking place for people with disabilities is at the main entrance.
The main entrance to the building is not accessible to wheelchair users.
Wheelchair users can get from level zero to the building at the entrance to the hall of the Faculty of Architecture and at the back of the building at the entrance next to the elevator.
The building consists of 4 floors, in the basement there are technical rooms, the hall has 2 floors.
Access to all floors is provided by an elevator with automatically opening doors, Braille marking, voice information system.
The adapted toilet is located on the ground floor near the elevator.
Chairs for the evacuation of people with disabilities are located on the floors by the staircase, at the main entrance.
Laboratory
Wheelchair users can get to the Laboratory building from level zero.
The facility consists of 3 floors, in the basement there are technical rooms. Access is provided by the cabin lift.
The accessible toilet is located on the ground floor.
Maps of the Building and the Hall are available in the Zonifero application.
The university provides access to the Migam sign language interpreter service (in Polish), the service is active from Monday to Friday from 8 am to 8 pm.
The lecture hall of the Faculty of Architecture and room 204 are equipped with inductophonic loops. The stationary inductophone loop is installed in the dean’s office, room 003 and in the library, room 010A.
Contact details of the gatehouse or other persons providing information/assistance: Gatehouse 85 746-99-00. The gatehouse connected to the cloakroom is located next to the entrance of the main didactic building.
You can enter the facilities with an assistance dog.
Room markings in braille were placed above the room handles.
The staircases in the building are not equipped with handrails on both sides.
The facilities are to be subject to modernization works increasing accessibility: designation of parking places for people with disabilities.
The University’s facilities are not equipped with information systems for people with sensory disabilities, including guidance lines and attention fields, sound information systems.
