From 2020, Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazebruk, DSc, PhD, Eng is the rector of the largest technical university in north-eastern Poland. As a rector she wants to ensure the highest quality of education for students and young scientists. She puts great emphasis on internationalisation of the University – from student and PhD student exchanges to the international character of scientific research. She develops cooperation with industry in numerous research and development projects, emphasising the importance of using modern technologies with respect for nature. She considers the scientific and teaching staff, who often play the role of national and international experts, and students to be the great value of the University. Because they are the best ambassadors of the knowledge they gain within the walls of the University, they shape the future by creating innovative solutions. She wants to build and strengthen the potential of Bialystok University of Technology as a significant research and development centre in the region and in Poland.
Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazebruk, DSc, PhD, Eng successfully combines the tasks she is faced with, as the person in charge of the University, with scientific and research activities. In the over 70-year history of Bialystok University of Technology she is the first female Rector.
