Setting up a Gender Equality Plan

The most important task of the Gender Equality Plan at Bialystok University of Technology is to promote, implement and monitor positive actions regarding gender equality, in particular by supporting equality in scientific careers or ensuring gender balance in decision-making processes and bodies.

Dear Sirs,

We would like to invite you to participate in an anonymous survey which will serve to develop a Gender Equality Plan (GEP).

The document will address the issue of equal treatment at Bialystok University of Technology. It will present the current situation at the University, set objectives to correct shortcomings, as well as reinforce good practice. Unequal treatment may harm all employees, regardless of gender. Lessons learned from the research will be used to introduce anti-discrimination measures that will benefit the entire academic community.

GEP is required when applying for EU funding under the Horizon Europe Framework Programme for Research and Innovation 2021-2027. Lack of the document will exclude Bialystok University of Technology from the possibility of submitting applications in the Horizon Europe Programme, as well as participating in the project as a partner.

With the above in mind, and with a view to adopting solutions to improve the development of our University, we would like to ask you to spare 15 minutes to complete and send in the questionnaire. – Please note that we stopped collecting responses for this survey. Thank you for your participation.
