The European Parliament experts from the Faculty of Engineering Management

Prof. Joanna Ejdys, Assoc. Prof. Katarzyna Czerewacz-Filipowicz, DSc, PhD and Anna Kononiuk, PhD took part as experts in the meeting of the STOA Future of Science and Technology Panel of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on 16 March 2023. The panel was chaired by Christian Ehler.
During the presentation, representatives of the Faculty of Engineering Management, presented a study ‘A preparedness plan for Europe: Addressing food, energy and technological security’. The aim of the study was to develop Policy Options in four areas: food, energy, satellite communication and semiconductors. The study was carried out using the Delphi method with more than 150 experts from 30 countries.
The results of the research will contribute to open discussions on future European Union policies to ensure the resilience and security of supply chains in the identified research areas.
