It was the closing event of the Hub of Talents 2 project, which for four years helped 274 initiators develop innovative startups.

At the HOT.AI conference, speakers shared their knowledge and experience in the field of artificial intelligence. One of the speakers was Adam Zagórecki, PhD, Eng – a senior researcher at the Defense Academy (Cranfield University) in the UK, and an Honorary Alumni of Bialystok University of Technology.

The “Hub of Talents 2 startup platform for new ideas” project was designed to support the development of entrepreneurship in the region. We launched the project in 2019 together with 10 partners, including Bialystok University of Technology, which played an important role in the implementation of specialized services tailored to the needs of technology startups that participated in the project, – says Anna Daszuta-Zalewska, director of the Bialystok Science and Technology Park.

Young participants of the conference were able to learn about the opportunities that come from the use of artificial intelligence, but also about the risks. Such as Maksymilian Sawicki from the Infotech school. – I am interested in using artificial intelligence in my own business. Besides, artificial intelligence has implications for the programming profession, and I plan to study computer science at Bialystok University of Technology, – the student admits.

During the conference, it was also possible to meet startups that have undergone incubation in the Hub of Talents 2 project and use artificial intelligence in their business.
