Assoc. Prof. Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, DSc, PhD – an expert at FIBAA

Assoc. Prof. Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, DSc, PhD, Vice-Rector for Education at Bialystok University of Technology, has become a quality expert at The Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA). This is a recognised international accreditation organisation in all German-speaking countries.
 

On 11 March 2023 FIBAA has nominated assoc. prof. Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, DSc, PhD, to serve as an expert in quality of education. The first meeting of the newly appointed FIBAA experts is scheduled for later in March 2023.

I will be joining an international team of experts who, at the institutional level, assess the educational programmes and management qualifications of graduate students and other academic institutions in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. I am very happy to join this panel as it will provide me with valuable experience in the area of improving the quality of education, including the improvement of methodology and introduction of new forms of education, which has been in the focus of my interest for many years – comments Assoc. FIBAA conducts evaluation procedures in accordance with the individual goals of universities and other academic institutions. In terms of programme accreditation procedures and certification procedures for academic study programmes and continuing education courses, FIBAA places particular emphasis on the quality of educational programmes and managerial qualifications. As an advisory body, FIBAA supports higher education institutions and assists them in developing and implementing their quality-oriented strategies.

FIBAA in 2002 was accepted into the European Quality Assurance Register for Higher Education (EQAR) – ), a register jointly established by the European Association for Quality Assurance in Higher Education (ENQA), the European Students’ Union (ESU), the European Unversity Association (EUA) and the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education (EURASHE). EQAR contains a list of quality assurance agencies and institutions whose activities are substantially in line with the European Standards and Guidelines for Quality Assurance (ESG).
