In 2022, Bialystok University of Technology will implement four new projects under Erasmus+ Key Action 2 “Cooperation among organisations and institutions”. In one of them our university is a leader, in the other three – a partner of consortia led by universities from Lithuania, Latvia and Spain.

– We are very pleased with the next projects of the Strategic Partnerships/Partnerships for Cooperation, which will be implemented at our University in the following years under the leadership of Assoc. Prof. Ewa Glińska, PhD, Eng, Prof. Jolanta Pauk, PhD, DSc, Eng and Adam Jakimowicz, PhD, Eng, Arch. These activities contribute to the internationalisation of Bialystok University of Technology, expanding cooperation with foreign universities, both in the didactic and scientific fields. They also provide an opportunity to raise the qualifications of the university staff,” says Assoc. Prof. Dorota Anna Krawczyk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation.
Projects under Erasmus+ Key Action 2 enable international partnerships, the common goal of which is to develop, transfer and implement innovative educational practices at the European level. The result of such projects is the modernisation of the university’s educational offer, its better adaptation to the needs of society and economy, and improved quality of education.
Bialystok University of Technology is very active in attracting such projects and building partnerships with foreign institutions. In the Erasmus+ KA2 projects alone it currently cooperates with 37 partners: from Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Greece, Spain, Holland, Ireland, Lithuania, Latvia, Germany, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Italy, the United Kingdom.
Currently, the International Relations Office of Bialystok University of Technology coordinates 10 Erasmus+ Strategic Partnerships projects (in five of them our university acts as a leader, in the remaining as a partner).
– The DigiFoF project, which was coordinated on behalf of our university by Arkadiusz Jurczuk, PhD, Eng, ended in December 2021. Its results, created in cooperation with 14 partners, can already be used by employees and students of the Faculty of Engineering Management of BUT. Projects for which we obtained funding in previous years are also continued. The results of previous projects show how important such activities are for the university and its participants. Therefore, I strongly encourage BUT employees to apply for further international grants. Deadlines for the first calls for applications in 2022 are in the second half of February. All information and administrative assistance can be obtained at IRO – adds Assoc. Prof. Dorota Anna Krawczyk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation of Bialystok University of Technology.
