Bilateral agreement deepening BUT’s cooperation with Chongqing Jiaotong University

International cooperation is an important part of our University’s development. Therefore, we are happy to strengthen our relations with partner academic centres in the world once again.  Bialystok University of Technology has signed a bilateral agreement with Chongqing Jiaotong University – the university, which celebrates its 70th anniversary this year. On this occasion, the Rector of BUT expresses her best wishes to our Partner in China.

Bialystok University of Technology established its first relationship with Chongqing Jiaotong University back in 2017, when both universities became part of the Sino-Polish University Consortium ” One Belt One Road”. Since then, the universities associated in the consortium (12 Polish and 15 Chinese) have jointly undertaken various forms of activities, such as Polish scholars have carried out scholarship visits to Chongqing Jiaotong University, several scientific conferences and cultural events have been organised in Poland and China.

Signing a bilateral agreement between BUT and Chongqing Jiaotong University will give us even more opportunities to intensify various activities, exchange scientific and technical ideas with Chinese experts. We hope to jointly implement scientific and educational projects and carry out mobility programmes for scientists, teachers and students.

“Over the years, our partnership has reached the level of friendly relations, which should be maintained and deepened within the framework of our bilateral agreement, which we have decided to sign. I truly believe that our cooperation can have a very positive impact on the level of education at both universities; it will enable us to conduct joint research and innovative activities in many fields of science and technology”, Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng., Rector of the Bialystok University of Technology, explained in her speech, wishing the academic community of Chongqing Jiaotong University the best of luck on the occasion of the university’s 70th anniversary.
