Mock Job Interview 2025 at Bialystok University of Technology! 70 students met with career advisors and company recruiters

A career abroad, 21st-century professions, student stories about their first professional experiences, mock interviews with native speakers in English, Ukrainian, and Spanish – these were just some of the topics covered in practical workshops on 4 June 2025, as part of Mock Job Interview 2025 at Bialystok University of Technology. During the event, future specialists from various industries had the opportunity to meet with recruiters from three local companies and talk to career advisors.

– Mock Job Interview is a recurring event for students and graduates of Bialystok University of Technology. Our goal is to help them find their way in the job market and to prove that a job interview – even in a foreign language – is nothing to be afraid of – said the organiser – Violetta Grabińska, MA, Head of the Foreign Language Centre at Bialystok University of Technology. – This year’s edition included a series of eight language workshops and a panel during which students shared their experiences from various job interviews. A great value of the meeting was the participation of three companies: Czochańscy Architectural Studio, Kan and LBPro. Their experts conducted mock interviews with our students.

An attractive CV is the first signal to an employer that says: this candidate is worth meeting. What tricks help create a strong curriculum vitae? And how should you prepare for a meeting with a potential employer to ultimately be hired? Participants of the 4th edition of Mock Job Interview received comprehensive preparation for job interviews.

– We support students in career development and in practising job interviews in English – said Ewa Kowalczuk-Czapko, MA, Career Advisor from the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office of Bialystok University of Technology. – Mock Job Interview participants can practise typical interview vocabulary, and they can also check and improve their CVs so that they know how to behave in real interviews with companies. It’s a great opportunity to become more comfortable with stressful situations – but in a stress-free atmosphere.

The event concluded with a professional photo session, the results of which students can use to enhance their LinkedIn profiles or prepare their CVs.

Mock Job Interview 2025 was organised by the Foreign Language Centre of Bialystok University of Technology and the Career Development and Alumni Relations Office of Bialystok University of Technology, with support from the Erasmus+ InnHUB Białystok Innovation Centre.
