It should be emphasised that the mere presence in this international ranking is a significant distinction. The ranking included only 45 Polish academic institutions.
At the regional level, Bialystok University of Technology is the highest-ranked university in the voivodeship.
Internationally, we rank 1,421st among 3,300 institutions.
Particularly noteworthy is the fact that Bialystok University of Technology was included in the rankings of five new specialities: Control Engineering, Emotion Recognition, Water Treatment, Ecological Engineering and Failure Analysis. Additionally, it is worth highlighting the significant improvement compared with the previous edition in the following specialities: Systems Management (+20 places) and Bayesian Network (+14 places).
Scientists recognised for their overall research achievements
In the ‘Highly Ranked Scholars’ ranking for overall research achievements, Prof. Tadeusz Kaczorek, DSc, PhD, Eng., was recognised as one of the highest-rated researchers. It is worth noting that only 16 Polish scientists were included in this ranking. Prof. Kaczorek achieved an excellent 7th place in this edition.
Prof. Tadeusz Kaczorek, DSc, PhD, Eng., was also recognised in the global rankings of individual fields, disciplines and specialities, taking: 1,031st place in the field of Engineering, 306th place in the discipline of Electrical and Computer Engineering, 1st place in the speciality of Electric Network and 2nd place in the speciality of Linear System.
The speciality rankings also recognised Romualdas Ginevičius, DSc, PhD, Eng., Assoc. Prof. at Bialystok University of Technology, who ranked 8th in the speciality of Business Economics, and Prof. Marek Krętowski, DSc, PhD, Eng., who ranked 10th in the speciality of Decision Tree.
