Perspektywy 2026 Ranking. Bialystok University of Technology ranked first in the incoming student exchange indicator among technical universities

Bialystok University of Technology has achieved significant success in the Perspektywy 2026 University Ranking, moving up by 6 positions among academic universities and by 2 positions among technical universities.
 

This result confirms the dynamic development of the University and the effectiveness of activities undertaken in the areas of education, research and international cooperation.

In the latest edition of the Perspektywy 2026 Ranking, Bialystok University of Technology is among the best academic universities in the staff exchange indicator. We are the 1st technical university in Poland in the incoming student exchange indicator and the 2nd technical university in Poland in the outgoing student exchange indicator.

 

Another reason for pride is that Bialystok University of Technology received the maximum number of points in the category of participation in the European Universities Initiative. It is worth emphasising that only 31 academic universities in Poland, including 13 technical universities, were included in this prestigious group.

 
This is the result of the University’s active involvement in the European Commission’s ‘European Universities’ initiative, which aims to develop close cooperation between universities, strengthen student and staff mobility, and build a common European educational and research area.

In the Academic Universities Ranking 2026, Bialystok University of Technology ranked 43rd, improving its position by six places compared with the previous edition.

The leaders of this year’s Perspektywy 2026 Academic Universities Ranking were, ex aequo, the University of Warsaw and Jagiellonian University, while Warsaw University of Technology took third place.

In the ranking of technical universities, Bialystok University of Technology moved up to 12th place, improving its position by two places. Among technical universities, Warsaw University of Technology took first place, ahead of AGH University of Krakow and Gdansk University of Technology.

The Perspektywy 2026 Ranking also includes rankings of degree programmes. In this year’s edition, the following degree programmes offered by Bialystok University of Technology improved their ranking positions:

  2. Electronics and Telecommunications
  3. Computer Science
  4. Environmental Engineering
  5. Forestry
  6. Mathematics
  7. Mechanical Engineering and Machine Building
  8. Management
  9. Management and Production Engineering

The advancement of Bialystok University of Technology in the Perspektywy 2026 Ranking is the result of the consistently implemented Development Strategy of Bialystok University of Technology, which includes improving the quality of education, developing research activities, increasing internationalisation and strengthening cooperation with domestic and international partners. The achieved results confirm the growing position of Bialystok University of Technology among the best universities in Poland.
