Our University was placed in the 1801–2000 band, giving it joint 8th place in the national ranking. A total of 44 Polish universities were included in the ranking, while a further four received “Reporter” status. The highest-ranked Polish higher education institutions were Wroclaw Medical University (451–500 band), Jagiellonian University (551–600 band), and the University of Warsaw and the Medical University of Lodz, placed jointly in the 801–1000 band.
Globally, the University of Oxford has remained the ranking leader without interruption for more than a decade. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) was placed second, while Princeton University and Stanford University shared the third step of the podium.
The Times Higher Education ranking methodology is based on 18 indicators grouped into five key areas: Teaching, Research Environment, Research Quality, Industry Collaboration and International Outlook. Among Polish universities, Wroclaw Medical University led in the Teaching and Research Quality criteria, while Jagiellonian University achieved the best result in the Research Environment category. AGH University of Krakow continues to lead in Industry Collaboration, while in the International Outlook criterion—as in the previous year—SWPS University can boast the highest position.
We thank every member of our academic community whose daily work and commitment build the Bialystok University of Technology brand internationally, contributing to our presence in such prestigious global rankings.
