Bialystok University of Technology researchers among the world’s Top 2% most influential scientists

The Top 2% list of the most influential scientists is compiled by Stanford University in collaboration with Elsevier and SciTech Strategies. Researchers from around the world are included in the ranking. The list is based on their scientific achievements, with evaluation criteria including the number of citations by other authors, the Hirsch index, and the researcher’s position and role in the list of publication authors. The ranking data are drawn from the Scopus database.
Stanford University prepares two types of rankings. The first takes into account the achievements of an entire scientific career (up to the end of 2024), and the second assesses achievements within a single calendar year – in this case, 2024. In total, 11 researchers from Bialystok University of Technology were included on both lists (one more than last year).
In the ranking evaluating lifetime scientific achievement (up to and including 2024), seven researchers from Bialystok University of Technology were listed (names ordered by their position in the Top 2% list):
