The student residence halls of Bialystok University of Technology combine comfort, varied standards, developed infrastructure and an affordable price. The University offers its students and guests five modernised student residence halls. Alfa, Beta, Gamma, Delta and Epsilon are located in the heart of the campus on Zwierzyniecka Street.
 

As emphasised by Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, the functioning of the student residence halls is crucial for fulfilling the University’s mission, especially in the context of internationalisation and student integration.

– For years, Bialystok University of Technology has consistently built its student community, attracting candidates not only from Białystok and the region, but also from across Poland and abroad – emphasises Assoc. Prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, DSc, PhD, Eng, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology. – By improving the living standard in the student residence halls, we ensure that their residents feel good and safe here. By providing appropriate conditions not only for studying but also for living on our campus, Bialystok University of Technology strengthens its position as an attractive centre for future engineering professionals. This is a key element of the University’s strategy, which makes international students so eager to choose Bialystok University of Technology and come to us as part of degree programmes, summer schools or volunteer projects.

Location in the centre of academic Białystok

For decades, the student residence halls of Bialystok University of Technology have provided accommodation for students, including international ones, doctoral students, staff and University guests. And their greatest asset continues to be their attractive location.

Residents of the student residence halls are only a few minutes’ walk from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences, the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and the Faculty of Computer Science. In the immediate vicinity are also: the Library of Bialystok University of Technology, the Foreign Language Centre and the Academic Incubator of Entrepreneurship. From the student residence halls of Bialystok University of Technology, it is convenient and quick to reach the Faculty of Architecture on Oskara Sosnowskiego Street and the Faculty of Engineering Management located at 2 Ojca Tarasiuka Street in Kleosin.

Right next to the student residence halls is the Academic Sports Centre of Bialystok University of Technology, with a two-storey hall and a modern complex of outdoor sports fields and courts (including squash courts).
The University Residential Campus of Bialystok University of Technology is very well connected with the centre of Białystok. The proximity of bicycle paths, the BiKeR stations and the Zwierzyniecki Forest Park and Nature Reserve (a favourite jogging spot) encourages active recreation.

Investments in comfort and safety

Over the past two years, all five student residence halls of Bialystok University of Technology have undergone extensive modernisation, improving the standard of accommodation and safety. The infrastructure of the buildings has been adapted to fire safety regulations. The campus area has been covered by 24-hour monitoring.

The student residence hall buildings are equipped with modern lifts and ramps. Segments for people with special needs, with adapted bathrooms, are available.

Many other actions have been taken to improve the comfort and living standard in the student residence halls. Rooms and common areas have been renovated. Kitchens available on every floor have been equipped with gas hobs and an oven. A microwave oven and a large worktop are also available, allowing residents to prepare meals. Self-service laundries and drying rooms have also been opened. Each student residence hall has a bicycle room. On the University campus and in the residence halls, residents can use free Internet within the EDUROAM network.

The “Relax” Student Club operates in the Beta Student Residence Hall. It is a multifunctional room that serves residents of the University Residential Campus as a place for integration, studying and quiet time. The “Relax” Club is open seven days a week.

In the Gamma Student Residence Hall, the entrance hall has been modernised: a comfortable place for rest and work has been created and a coffee station has been installed.

 

 

Rooms

In the academic year 2025/2026, the University Residential Campus of Bialystok University of Technology offers more than 1,330 accommodation places in various standards, allowing students to choose conditions at an affordable price (from PLN 390 to PLN 990 in the 2025/2026 academic year).

The higher the floor, the more beautiful the view – from the Zwierzyniecki Forest to the panorama of Białystok.

Student rooms are equipped with essential furniture: a couch, a wardrobe, a small table, a desk, a chair, a kitchen cabinet and a bookshelf. Each room is also equipped with a refrigerator. Bathrooms are equipped with a shower, a toilet and a washbasin.

Residents can choose rooms and places in rooms in three standards:

  • 4/1 – four rooms per bathroom. In this standard the segment houses a maximum of 6 people. This option is most often chosen by those who want to live with siblings or friends.
  • 2/1 – two rooms per bathroom. This segment houses a maximum of 3 people. It is popular among students who value privacy.
  • 2/1 de luxe – two rooms per bathroom in the de luxe version. Maximum number of residents in the segment – 4 people.

Additionally, in the Delta Student Residence Hall, in cooperation with students of the interior architecture study programme at the Faculty of Architecture of Bialystok University of Technology, a guest room segment (single and double rooms) has been created.

Service Centre for Residents

The Service Centre for Residents of the University Residential Campus of Bialystok University of Technology is located in the Gamma Student Residence Hall (8 Zwierzyniecka Street, room 3). This is a place where residents of the student residence halls submit all necessary documents, receive a resident card, and can also count on help in all matters related to living in the student residence halls.
