She will work in the advisory team that plays a key role in shaping the quality and internationalisation policy of higher education at the national level. Its tasks include, among others, substantive assessment of applications submitted by universities seeking support in obtaining prestigious international accreditations, as well as recommending projects with the greatest strategic potential.
– International accreditations are of great importance for the quality of education – says Assoc. Prof. Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, DSc, PhD. –They not only confirm compliance with European standards but also serve as a tool for building a culture of quality, openness and excellence in teaching. They give students tangible benefits – they increase professional mobility, facilitate diploma recognition and enhance the prestige of completed studies.
The appointment of an expert from Bialystok University of Technology to the team of the Minister of Science and Higher Education is an expression of recognition of her competence and experience in evaluating European programmes.
– I consider this appointment an honour, but above all a commitment to further work for quality, academic culture and responsible dialogue within the higher education community – emphasises Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, who is also Chair of the team responsible for drafting the higher education development strategy in Poland. – I also see in this appointment an opportunity to strengthen Poland’s position within the European education area – provided that we more boldly adopt international standards and best practices, building cooperation based on trust, openness and transparency.
Bialystok University of Technology focuses on European quality in education and builds relations with the international academic community, as confirmed by its membership in the European University Alliance ACROSS. The University also makes every effort to obtain international accreditations, resulting in the award of prestigious EUR-ACE® Label certificates to 9 first- and second-cycle study programmes. Their graduates may apply for registration in ENGINEERS EUROPE – EE (Engineers of Europe) and obtain the Euro-Engineer certificate.
Study programmes at the Faculty of Engineering Management of Bialystok University of Technology have also received sector-specific certificates such as ACCA, CIMA and European Logistics Association (ELA).
Assoc. Prof. Agnieszka Dardzińska-Głębocka, DSc, PhD, from the Department of Mechanics and Applied Computer Science at the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of Bialystok University of Technology, also holds other distinguished roles in expert bodies: member of the Polish Accreditation Committee and Plenipotentiary of the Chair of the Polish Accreditation Committee for international cooperation and external communication; Chair of the team responsible for drafting the higher education development strategy in Poland; member of the advisory team for evaluation of applications and reports under the “Implementation Doctorate” Programme; member of the advisory team for the “Social Responsibility of Science II” Programme.
