Perspektywy 2025 University Ranking. Bialystok University of Technology tops the inbound student mobility indicator

In this latest edition of the Perspektywy 2025 ranking, Bialystok University of Technology ranked first in Poland for the highest percentage of inbound international students, and second among technical universities (eighth in the country) for the number of students going abroad as part of exchange programmes.
Bialystok University of Technology earned the maximum score in the ‘European University participation’ category – a distinction shared by only 31 academic universities in Poland, including 13 technical universities.
This success is the result of Bialystok University of Technology’s active participation in the European Universities initiative by the European Commission, which promotes close collaboration among European universities and the development of a shared academic space.
In the Academic Universities Ranking, Bialystok University of Technology was ranked 49th. In the Technical Universities Ranking, it retained its 14th position from the previous year.
The Perspektywy 2025 Higher Education Ranking also includes a list of the most popular study programmes offered by academic institutions in Poland. Among the 18 study programmes offered by Bialystok University of Technology that were ranked, five improved their positions. Notably, Management and Production Engineering moved up five places compared to last year. Environmental Engineering and Mathematics both rose by four positions, Mechatronics by three, and Management by one.
The following study programmes received the maximum score in individual indicators:
- Civil Engineering – international students (internationalisation criterion),
- Environmental Engineering – international students (internationalisation criterion),
- Management – research activity evaluation (academic potential criterion),
- Architecture – FWCI (Field-Weighted Citation Impact) (scientific effectiveness criterion),
- Logistics – research activity evaluation (academic potential criterion).
This year’s overall ranking was topped by the University of Warsaw, followed by the Jagiellonian University, with Warsaw University of Technology in third place.
Among technical universities, Warsaw University of Technology came first, followed by AGH University of Krakow and Gdańsk University of Technology.
