Bialystok University of Technology advances two positions in the latest edition of the Perspektywy University Rankings 2024!!!!!

Bialystok University of Technology is the third best technical university and the sixth best university in Poland with the highest percentage of incoming international students. Among all public universities in Poland in the category of innovation in the “Foreign patents and protection rights” indicator, Bialystok University of Technology ranks seventh! Among technical universities, Bialystok University of Technology ranks third!
In the Academic Universities Ranking, Bialystok University of Technology has advanced two positions from 48th to 46th place. Meanwhile, in the technical universities ranking, it maintained its 14th place from the previous year.
Other indicators where Bialystok University of Technology achieved high rankings among technical universities include:
- Students mobility – outbound: 5th place,
- Academic staff with highest qualifications: 8th place,
- Mobility of academic staff (outgoing) within the Erasmus+ Programme: 8th place,
- Multicultural composition of student body: 8th place,
- Accreditations: 10th place,
- SDG – contribution of university research to the implementation of the UN Sustainable Development Goals: 11th place,
- Education of doctoral students (new indicator): 11th place.
In the innovation criterion for 2024, Bialystok University of Technology ranked 9th out of 103 academic universities in Poland.
The Perspektywy University Rankings 2024 also provide information on the most popular study programmes offered by Polish academic universities. Out of 18 study programmes at Bialystok University of Technology ranked, six programmes improved their ranking positions. It is noteworthy that the management programme rose by three positions compared to last year.
The following study programmes received the maximum number of points in specific indicators:
- Civil Engineering – international students (internationalisation criterion),
- Environmental Engineering – international students (internationalisation criterion),
- Management – research evaluation (research potential criterion),
- Architecture – citations, FWCI (Field-Weighted Citation Impact) (research effectiveness criterion),
- Logistics – research evaluation (research potential criterion), accreditations (teaching criterion).

This year’s ranking was won by the University of Warsaw, with Jagiellonian University in second place and Warsaw University of Technology in third.
The best non-public university was once again the Kozminski University in Warsaw, while the President Stanisław Wojciechowski University in Kalisz and the Jacob of Paradies University in Gorzów Wielkopolski (ex aequo) were named the best public vocational universities.
