- RS-1512-05-2425 “Improving Food Quality with Novel Food Processing Technologies”, whose main coordinator is the University of Novi Sad (Serbia),
- and PL-1909-01-2425 “Green buildings as solutions to achieve sustainable environmental goals”, the main coordinator of which is Rzeszow University of Technology.
The RS-1512-05-2425 consortium focuses on topics related to food quality and modern production systems, paying particular attention to the effective management of waste generated in the production process. The area of interest of the network closely harmonises with the scope of education in the fields of agri-food engineering and biotechnology at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of Bialystok University of Technology.
On the other hand, the PL-1909-01-2425 consortium focuses on ecological construction as an important element of sustainable development and response to the upcoming challenges related to climate change and environmental protection in the broader Danube region. This area of interest coincides with the scope of education in the field of environmental engineering at the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences of Bialystok University of Technology.
– The first university mobilities within the network will be implemented in the academic year 2024/2025. We will start them with the outgoing mobilities of one academic teacher and one student and the incoming mobilities of two teachers and one student from abroad to BUT. Our student will have the opportunity to go for an internship to the Vienna University of Life Sciences (BOKU), and the incoming student will come from this university. CEEPUS is a great opportunity to implement joint scientific and didactic activities of university employees and a chance for students to acquire new skills at work on a completely different apparatus, which will enrich diploma research. In the following years, I hope for intensive development of cooperation within the network – explains Magdalena Joka Yildiz, PhD, Eng, from the Faculty of Civil Engineering and Environmental Sciences.
