07-10-2024The Baltic Sea Youth Dialogue (BSYD) 2024 will be held on 11-16 November in in Gdańsk with the theme 'Cultural Heritage in the Baltic Sea Region: Expert and Peer Dialogue on Shared Heritage, Connections, and Outreach in the BSR’.
The event brings together youth from across the region, who are interested in Baltic Sea Region politics, society and history of regional cooperation, and are curious to know each other’s cultures, as well as explore their shared identity. It aims to foster intercultural understanding and peer dialogue on regional and identity-building topics.
The 11th edition of the BSYD invites 20 young individuals, aged 18-28, residing in the Baltic Sea Region to explore and engage with their shared cultural heritage. This seminar will focus on the Hanseatic legacy, cultural heritage, and the connections that have shaped the Baltic Sea Region (BSR) over centuries, and the youth perspective on it today.
The application deadline is 15 October 2024.
