My Green University 2.0
Po raz kolejny przeżyliśmy wspaniałą przygodę podczas projektu wolontariatu grupowego!
W dniach 6-19 października 2025 r. Politechnika Białostocka gościła uczestników drugiej edycji programu wolontariatu grupowego realizowanego w ramach Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarności.
Wśród wolontariuszy EKS znalazło się także czterech studentów PB, którzy – oprócz wykonywania własnych zadań – opiekowali się zagranicznymi uczestnikami i przez cały czas trwania projektu dumnie reprezentowali uczelnię.
Every volunteering experience is unique – thanks to the amazing people who bring it to life. This time was no different. Open-minded, kind, creative, and full of warmth – that’s how I’d describe the wonderful people I met here. It was an inspiring and joyful experience that will stay with me for a long time. The My Green University 2.0 project at Politechnika Białostocka was a truly enriching and well-organized experience. The arrangements made by the International Relations Office were excellent, creating a supportive and engaging environment for all participants. While there were a few moments that prompted reflection on cultural differences and communication, they also offered valuable insight into the dynamics of international exchange. Activities such as tree planting and learning about landscape architecture added meaningful, hands-on learning opportunities, making the project both educational and memorable.
Taking part in this project was my first volunteering experience. I had the chance to meet inspiring people from different countries, explore a new city, and develop valuable skills that will stay with me both personally and professionally. I’m especially grateful for the friendships I’ve made and for sure I will stay connected with everyone I met.
Joining the volunteering project My Green University 2.0 was a decision I’ll always be grateful for. It was more than just environmental work. From planting trees to promoting sustainability, it was about connecting with incredible people from all around the world. I found a true sense of community and purpose. I’m leaving feeling more confident and inspired than ever.
The My Green University 2.0 project at Bialystok University of Technology was a very valuable opportunity for me to meet and work together with people from other countries and also improve my skills in many areas. Living and working together for two weeks with the others formed a bond between us and also helped me to learn about different perspectives. The tasks and workshops were very interesting, and helped me develop my abilities mostly in graphic design and public speaking.
The volunteering project at Bialystok University of Technology was a valuable experience that helped me grow personally and professionally. It allowed me to step out of my comfort zone, gain confidence, and connect with inspiring people. Working in a team during workshops and preparing videos and presentations for Erasmus Days and the Planting Day was especially rewarding, as everyone shared creative ideas and worked together effectively. Cooking together for two weeks also gave us the chance to explore new cuisines and cultures. This project taught me the importance of teamwork, sustainability, and learning from others.
Taking part in the “My Green University 2.0 ” volunteer project has been a truly enriching experience for me as an international student in Poland. During the Erasmus Days, I had the chance to collaborate and interact with students from diverse backgrounds, which strengthened my teamwork skills and helped me get to know Polish culture more closely. The planting activity was another highlight, as it taught me practical ways to support a sustainable campus and showed how meaningful environmental impact can be achieved through collective effort. Overall, this project enhanced my intercultural communication, encouraged a sense of community, and motivated me to adopt more eco-friendly habits in my academic life.
The volunteering experience focused on greenery and collaboration with people from different countries was extremely positive. Working together for the environment brought people together across borders, fostering cultural exchange, teamwork, and friendship. I also had the opportunity to meet amazing people who inspired and motivated me. This inspiring initiative showed that caring for nature can unite people and bring great satisfaction.
Taking part in the second edition of the project was another wonderful experience. Once again, I had the chance to meet inspiring people from different countries and backgrounds. Working together and sharing ideas gave me even more motivation to stay active and continue developing myself through volunteering.
Taking part in My Green University was an amazing experience! I met wonderful people from different countries, and together we worked to make the campus greener. I learned a lot about ecology and international cooperation — it was both fun and inspiring.
During this project I learned and got so much knowledge about climate change, sustainability, environmental protection and other things connected to architecture. I met so many interesting people. They became my really good friends… we spent such beautiful time together. I am really thankful for this experience.
Przez dwa tygodnie wolontariusze z Francji, Gruzji, Turcji, Ukrainy, Węgier, Włoch oraz Polski aktywnie angażowali się w działalność uczelni i lokalnej społeczności, wspierając tworzenie kampusu bardziej otwartego, zrównoważonego i przyjaznego dla wszystkich.
Zakres ich działań był bardzo szeroki i obejmował m.in.:
- sadzenie roślin na terenie kampusu Politechniki Białostockiej w celu zazielenienia przestrzeni, poprawy estetyki otoczenia oraz podnoszenia świadomości ekologicznej wśród studentów i pracowników uczelni;
- przygotowywanie materiałów promujących wydarzenie Erasmus Days, w tym grafik, treści informacyjnych oraz postów w mediach społecznościowych, które zachęcały studentów do udziału w programach wymiany międzynarodowej i odkrywania innych kultur;
- przygotowanie ankiet oraz przeprowadzenie badań wśród studentów Politechniki Białostockiej dotyczących ich wiedzy i opinii na temat: How Much Do You Know about Erasmus+? oraz How Much Do You Know about Sustainability?;
- tworzenie materiałów promujących i zachęcających lokalną społeczność do proekologicznych postaw;
- udział w warsztatach poświęconych ochronie środowiska, podczas których omawiano aktualne problemy ekologiczne, sposoby ograniczania negatywnego wpływu człowieka na przyrodę oraz praktyczne działania na rzecz zrównoważonego rozwoju.
Swoje wrażenia z pobytu wolontariusze uwieczniali w krótkich filmikach, które nagrywali na bieżąco zarówno podczas realizacji działań wolontariackich, jak i w czasie wolnym.
Był to wyjątkowo wartościowy czas, obfitujący w inspirujące spotkania, współpracę i pozytywne emocje. Wolontariusze dzielili się swoją energią i pomysłowością, jednocześnie rozwijając się osobiście, zdobywając nowe umiejętności i cenne doświadczenia. Politechnika Białostocka zyskała nie tylko wsparcie w realizacji swoich działań, lecz także wiele miłych wspomnień oraz motywację do organizowania podobnych przedsięwzięć w przyszłości.
Druga edycja za nami – z każdą edycją staramy się w coraz kreatywniejszy sposób przekazywać wiedzę, dobrą, zieloną energię oraz tworzyć mocne więzi!
