Welcome to Podlasie – winter semester 2025/2026 report

W semestrze zimowym 2025/2026 kontynuowaliśmy realizację działania w ramach projektu Akcja-Integracja 2.0 Programu Welcome to Poland NAWA. Zadanie „Welcome to Podlasie” to cykliczne całodniowe wycieczki po Podlasiu, których uczestnikami są studenci i goście zagraniczni PB. Każda  wycieczka cieszyła się ogromnym zainteresowaniem międzynarodowej społeczności Uczelni. 

Pierwsza wycieczka odbyła się 11.10.2025. Cykl rozpoczął się wyjazdem do Białowieży. Plan wycieczki obejmował najważniejsze punkty turystyczne tego miasta: Szlak Dębów Królewskich, Rezerwat Pokazowy Żubrów, Kładkę Żebra Żubra oraz Muzeum Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego. Wśród uczestników wyjazdu razem z regularnymi studentami Erasmus+ znaleźli się również zagraniczni wolontariusze realizujący w tym okresie działania Europejskiego Korpusu Solidarności na PB. 

Kolejna wycieczka to wyjazd do Supraśla i Kruszynian, który odbył się w dn. 25.10.2025. Plan wycieczki poza wizytą we wspomnianych miejscowościach obejmował spacer po Silvarium w Poczopku oraz wizytę w Arboretum w Kopnej Górze. W Supraślu studenci zwiedzili Muzeum Ikon, a w Kruszynianach meczet i mizar oraz Centrum Edukacji i Kultury Muzułmańskiej.

Ostatnia wycieczka w ramach „Welcome to Podlasie” to wyjazd do Tykocina w dn. 08.11.2025. Podczas wizyty w jednym z najstarszych miast regionu, uczestnicy zwiedzili zamek, Wielką Synagogę i Dom Talmudyczny oraz mieli okazję podziwiać naturę regionu podczas spaceru bulwarami rzeki Narwi nad potężnym jazem w Tykocinie.

Wycieczki miały na celu ukazanie studentom wielokulturowości naszego regionu, walorów przyrodniczych oraz unikatowości Podlasia. Kolejna edycja działania odbędzie się w semestrze letnim 2025/2026.

In the winter semester of 2025/2026, we continued to implement activities as part of the Action-Integration 2.0 project of the Welcome to Poland NAWA Programme. The ‘Welcome to Podlasie’ task consists of regular full-day trips around Podlasie, attended by students and foreign guests of the Bialystok University of Technology. Each trip was very popular among the international community of the University.

The first trip took place on 11 October 2025. The series began with a trip to Białowieża. The trip itinerary included the most important tourist attractions of the city: the Royal Oak Trail, the European Bison Show Reserve, the European Bison Footbridge and the Białowieża National Park Museum. Among the participants of the trip, along with regular Erasmus+ students, there were also foreign volunteers carrying out activities of the European Solidarity Corps at the University of Białystok during this period.

The next trip was to Supraśl and Kruszyniany, which took place on 25 October 2025. In addition to visiting these towns, the trip included a walk through the Silvarium in Poczopek and a visit to the Arboretum in Kopna Góra. In Supraśl, the students visited the Icon Museum, and in Kruszyniany, they visited the mosque and mizar, as well as the Centre for Muslim Education and Culture.

The last trip as part of ‘Welcome to Podlasie’ was a trip to Tykocin on 8 November 2025. During their visit to one of the oldest towns in the region, the participants visited the castle, the Great Synagogue and the Talmudic House, and had the opportunity to admire the region’s nature during a walk along the boulevards of the Narew River above the mighty weir in Tykocin.

The aim of the trips was to show students the multiculturalism of our region, its natural values and the uniqueness of Podlasie. The next edition of the activity will take place in the summer semester of 2025/2026.
