Beautiful Poland

plakat z dwunastoma zdjęciami krajobrazów

The cultural event, including a photo exhibition entitled  “Beautiful Poland” was organised by the Polish Language and Culture Centre POLISH LAB.

With the photo exhibition entitled “Beautiful Poland we started a series of activities aimed at promoting our broadly understood culture among foreigners living or staying temporarily in Poland. We show a dozen or so attractive tourist destinations as well as little-known corners of our country, which we recommend as valuable places for holidays and weekend trips.

The exhibition can be seen from 25 September to 28 October 2021 in the lobby of the CNK – Centre for Modern Education, 16 Zwierzyniecka Street.

On 25 September 2021, in addition to the opening of the photo exhibition, we invited participants to a language café, cultural workshops and a final competition. In the café, it was possible to talk to our lecturers on any topics to practice Polish language skills. The short cultural workshops took the form of a relaxed chat with a presentation of various interesting facts about our country and ourselves 🙂 .

Throughout the event, it was possible to win various gadgets, either by answering questions correctly or by taking part in a quiz after the workshop. At the end of the event, a competition on knowledge about Poland was held, in which the main prize – a voucher worth PLN 300 for a Polish language course – was won by Mirkan, a student of Bialystok University of Technology from Turkey. Congratulations!
