About DPJW
The MINT Project
Joint Class Project – MINT: Analysis of Soil, Water, and Air
The aim of our project is to establish and deepen long-term, fruitful cooperation between Polish and German students. We want to create a collaborative environment where we can share insights, exchange ideas, and grow together. In addition to our scientific goal—which involves developing a uniform research methodology, gathering research data on water, air, and soil pollution, and creating a website (in English, German, and Polish) to present the findings—we strive to foster mutual understanding of our respective countries, cultures, history, and customs. No Polish-German MINT project would be possible without the Deutsch-Polnisches Jugendwerk.
The German-Polish Youth Office (GPYO / DPJW) enables meetings and cooperation between young Poles and Germans by financing and supporting German-Polish projects.
How do we do it?
-
DPJW co-finances youth meetings that are as diverse in terms of topics and formats as the interests of young people themselves – ranging from theater and inter-school ecological projects to field hockey matches.
-
DPJW builds the foundations of good neighborly relations between Poles and Germans.
DPJW (German: Deutsch-Polnisches Jugendwerk) is the acronym for the international organization known as the German-Polish Youth Office. In Poland, it more commonly operates under the acronym PNWM (Polsko-Niemiecka Współpraca Młodzieży).
