What is the Moodle platform?
Moodle is the most widely used Learning Management System (LMS)for online education. “Moodle” stands for: Modular Object-Oriented Dynamic Learning Environment.
Moodle PB is a virtual learning environment for the implementation of remote learning, supporting the learning process and enabling communication with course participants. The system is a flexible solution that allows for the creation of interactive courses, publication of teaching materials, i.e. texts, links to resources, images, creation of online meetings, etc. The platform provides the possibility to monitor knowledge and skills. In addition, it actively supports the educational process of students. The Moodle PB e-learning platform complies with the newest SCORM standards, allowing for easy content migration between e-learning systems.

Moodle PB platform users:
- academic teachers – who want to use the functionalities of the Moodle platform;
- students, doctoral students, course participants;
- University authorities and administrators.
First Time on the Platform?
To log in to the Moodle PB platform, go to the website and select “Log in”.
All BUT employees and students with a USOSweb account can log in by selecting the “CAS” login option and clicking “Zaloguj się” (Log in). You will be redirected to the Central Authentication System (CAS) login page. Use the same login credentials as for USOSweb.
How to create a course in Moodle PB? (for academic staff)
Courses in Moodle PB are created via USOSweb. After logging in to the website, go to the “My USOSweb” tab, and then “Teacher’s classes”. Choose the course for which you want to create a Moodle course. In the “Moodle” section, the option “create a course in Moodle” appears with the option to select groups. Select and wait for confirmation. Information that the course is ready will appear in the USOSweb system along with the link “go to Moodle course”. The course name and participants (including the instructor) will be exported to Moodle PB.
