Białystok University of Technology undertakes to ensure the accessibility of the pb.edu.pl/uci website in accordance with the Act of 4 April 2019 on digital accessibility of public entities’ websites and mobile applications. The accessibility statement applies to the website pb.edu.pl/uci/en.

The website is partially compliant with the Act on digital accessibility of websites and mobile applications of public entities due to the following incompatibilities or exclusions:
- Not all documents made available for download are digitally available. Work is currently underway on converting WORD and PDF files to digitally available versions.
- It may be that alternative texts have not been added to photographs and graphics in archived News entries (published before 1 September 2020).
- It may be the case that in archived News posts (published before 1 September 2020), the elements which, when clicked, launch the link in a new window/ browser tab do not inform you of this.

Everyone has the right to request that a website, a mobile application or any of their elements be digitally available. You can also request information to be made available in alternative forms, for example to read a digitally unavailable document, describe the content of the video without audio description, etc. The request should contain the data of the person submitting the request, an indication of which website or mobile application it is meant and the method of contact. If the requesting person reports the need to receive information in an alternative form, he should also specify the form of this information.
The public entity should execute the request immediately and no later than within 7 days. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the public entity shall immediately inform about when it will be possible to fulfill the request, and the deadline may not be longer than 2 months. If accessibility cannot be ensured, the public entity may propose an alternative way of accessing the information.
In the event that the entity refuses to comply with the request to ensure the availability or alternative access to information, a complaint may be made against such action.
After exhausting all possibilities, the complaint can also be sent to the Ombudsman.
