Target group
The project envisages the participation of a group of direct recipients (22 foreign students and 2 BUT students), as well as a group of indirect recipients: BUT staff and foreign staff involved in the creation and implementation of the International Interdisciplinary Summer School.
The International Interdisciplinary Summer School is dedicated to first- and second-cycle students of environmental engineering, construction, architecture, energy or related fields. The course is aimed at students from all over the world (including BUT students) who are interested in the design of low-energy and environmentally friendly buildings.
The classes will be conducted in five thematic blocks:
- Modern architecture;
- Modern materials in construction;
- Energy-efficient heating and ventilation systems, and thermal comfort of the user;
- Application of ecological sources of heat and electricity;
- Energy-efficient lighting of the building.
The project will demonstrate the importance of proper inter-professional, inter-industry cooperation on the way to creating an environmentally friendly house, where users can enjoy thermal comfort and savings. Thanks to the implementation of the activities planned in the project, its participants will acquire extensive knowledge on the topics of the presented modules, have the opportunity to work in international teams and improve their language skills.
The project is implemented as part of the SPINAKER program – Intensive International Education Programs – 2024 recruitment.
