Tekla poplar
Chudów in the Silesian Region is known for the ruins of a 16th-century castle, knight tournaments and an unusual mini-bar located in the trunk of an old tree.
Tekla poplar is over 300 years old, has approximately 7.25 meters in circumference and 2.30 meters in diameter. But its size changes because the tree is alive and growing.
However, its trunk decayed inside, which the owners of “Przy Tekli” bar took advantage of and put three tables inside and the regional attraction was ready! The bar is located right next to the castle walls, so it is a must-visit place when in Chudów.
