Polish certificate

The Polish Language and Culture Centre „POLISH LAB” operates within the Foreign Language Centre of Bialystok University of Technology. It is authorised to hold state examinations in Polish as a foreign language by decision  of the Minister of Science and Education.

The Certificate of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language is the only state document confirming the knowledge of the Polish language. You can obtain it by passing the state certification exam at B1, B2 or C1 level, among others, in our Centre.

Schedule of examination sessions in 2025

announced by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (exams in Polish as a foreign language will take place at specified language proficiency levels – examination centers are not required to conduct examinations at all indicated levels):

• 2-3 February 2025 (Sun – Mon): level B1 and B2 adapted for the needs of adults;
• 12-13 April 2025 (Sat – Sun): – levels B1 and C1 adapted for the needs of adults; POLISH LAB Centre is not planning to organize exams in this session
• 21-22 June 2025 (Sat – Sun): levels B1 and B2 adapted for the needs of adults and levels B1 and B2 adapted for the needs of children and teenagers;
• 15-16 November 2025 (Sat – Sun): levels B1, C1 and C2 adapted for the needs of adults.

The nearest exam session organised in the POLISH LAB Centre is scheduled for 16-17 November 2024. Recruitment will be carried out around 16th September 2024.

Fees

Cost of the exam at B1 and B2 levels (for adults): equivalent to 150 EUR in Polish zlotys, C1- (for adults) – 180 EUR

Cost of issuance of the Certificate: equivalent to 20 EUR in Polish zlotys (paid after the results of the exam are announced)

Payment deadline:

Applicants who will have received the registration confirmation should make the payment within three working days of the registration. Details for the payment will be attached to the confirmation e-mail.

The POLISH LAB Centre does not send confirmation of payments made.
