60-hour C1(b) online course

60-hour online course of Polish as a foreign language at C1(b) level

The full C1 course includes 120 hours of study and consists of two parts: A 60-hour C1(a) course taken in the autumn semester and a 60-hour C1(b) course taken in the spring semester.

Due to technical issies, the enrollment has been postponed until the second week of February 2026 through electronic registration platform IRK.

Schedule:

Mondays and Wednesdays at 17:30-19:05; on Teams online platform

start on: 9 March 2026, end on: 24 June 2026.

Requirements:

knowledge of Polish language minimum on B2+ level confirmed by a state certificate; in case of lack of such certificate, a written and oral qualification will be carried out in our Centre.

Price:

The new course price list will be announced at the beginning of February – the new prices for all our courses and training programmes will be displayed on the IRK recruitment platform in the Fees section – unfortunately, they are slightly higher than in the winter semester.
Standard discounts apply for a one-time payment before the beginning of the course and for continued study at our center. It is also possible to spread the payment into 3 installments.

Learning outcomes

After completing the full course at C1 level (120 hours of study), the graduate is proficient in Polish and is able to communicate freely and accurately in academic and professional settings in accordance with linguistic and cultural standards:
1. understands and interprets longer oral and written statements on academic and specialized topics in various technical fields,
2. understands complex texts on academic topics and various technical fields; obtains the necessary information from the literature he reads,
3. creates well-structured statements, uses advanced linguistic means (grammatical and lexical); elaborates on particular topics;
4. prepares coherent and elaborate texts typical of academic and professional environment, also based on information from various specialized sources.
