60-hour B1(b) course
Who is this course for?
The Polish language course at B1(b) level is intended for foreign learners who already have a basic knowledge of Polish.
It is particularly popular among individuals planning to take the State Certificate Examination in Polish as a Foreign Language, study at Polish educational institutions, or seek employment in Poland. The course is the second part of a preparation programme for the state certification examination, which will take place in June 2026.
When do classes take place?
Classes are held twice a week in the afternoon in groups of 6 to 10 participants.
The course fee depends on the number of participants. The new course price list will be published at the beginning of February 2026. Discounts are available for learners continuing their studies at our centre and for those who make a one-off payment before the course begins.
Registration opens on 16 February 2026 at 8:00 a.m. via the IRK platform.
Registration closes on 27 February 2026.
The course starts on 9 March 2026.
State Certificate Examination dates: 27-28 June 2026.
What can I expect from the course?
A learner at B1(b) level:
- understands the main points of clear, standard speech on familiar matters regularly encountered at work, school, leisure activities, and in other everyday situations;
- can cope with most situations likely to arise while travelling in Poland;
- can produce simple, coherent spoken and written texts on topics of personal interest or familiar subjects;
- can describe experiences, events, plans, and ambitions;
- can briefly explain and justify opinions, intentions, and decisions.
