60-hour Polish language course at B1 level

The full B1 course includes 120 hours of study and consists of two parts: A 60-hour B1(a) course taken in the autumn semester and a 60-hour B1(b) course taken in the spring semester.

Due to the summer vacation season, which lasts until the end of August, we will contact you starting September 4, 2026. Classes begin in October, and we will conduct recruitment in September on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend that you register today to reserve your spot in the group. Priority will be given to students continuing their studies at our Center.

Who is this course for?

The Polish language course at B1 level is designed for foreigners who already know the basics of the Polish language.

It is of particular interest to those who are planning to obtain a Polish language certificate, to study in Polish schools or to work in Poland. This is the first of two parts of the course preparing for the State Certificate Examination, which takes place in June every year.

When do the classes take place?

Classes will be held twice a week, on Mondays and Wednesdays from 18:00 till 19:30, from October 2026 till February 2027, in groups of 6-10 students.

Price

The course fee is based on the number of people in the group. Groups consist of 6–7 or 8–10 people. Depending on the option you choose, the course fee can be as low as 1,620 PLN. These options include a discount program for a one-time payment before the course begins and for continuing your studies at our center. It is also possible to spread the full payment over 3 installments.

Teacher

The instructor has many years of experience teaching Polish and is a certified examiner.

What can I expect from the course?

A B1-level speaker:

– understands the meaning of the main ideas contained in clear, standard statements on familiar matters and events typical of work, school, leisure, etc.
– can deal with most communication situations related to travelling in Poland
– can produce simple connected text on topics that are familiar or of interest
– can describe experiences, events, plans and dreams
– briefly justify and explain opinions and intentions.
