Virtual Exchange for Students of the BUT Faculty of Mechanical Engineering

17-06-2025

In April 2025, Joanna Nazarko, MA, and Aniela Staszewska, MA, visited the Universitat Politècnica de València – Alcoy Campus as part of the Erasmus+ programme. During their visit, they established cooperation with English language lecturers, which resulted in a unique opportunity for students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Bialystok University of Technology.

In the winter semester of 2025/2026, we would like to invite our students to take part in a virtual exchange – project based learning initiative, which will involve online collaboration between students from our university and Mechanical Engineering students from Spain. The joint project will be carried out via the MS Teams platform and supervised by Aniela Staszewska, MA, and Joanna Nazarko, MA.

The programme will include 3–4 joint online meetings (progress report sessions), as well as regular collaboration in international project teams – organised independently, at times convenient for the participants.

This is a great opportunity to:

  • develop English communication skills,

  • gain experience in project-based teamwork in an international environment,

  • explore a new engineering perspective and work together on creative solutions.

The project topics will be related to mechanical engineering – more details will be announced in early October.

We are confident that both sides will bring many valuable contributions to this collaboration – both linguistic and engineering-related!
