Workshops by the Foreign Language Centre during the 14th International Staff Week
17-06-2025
Between 9 and 13 June 2025, Bialystok University of Technology held the 14th edition of the International Staff Week – an event organised within the Erasmus+ programme and coordinated by the Department of Mobility and International Agreements. The university welcomed representatives of partner institutions from several dozen countries, including Albania, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Fiji, Tunisia, Mauritius, Ukraine, and Nepal. Participants got to know our university, attended lectures and workshops, exchanged experiences, and made new connections.
Once again, the Foreign Language Centre of BUT took part in the event.
Monika Śleszyńska, PhD delivered a workshop entitled “5 tips for clear communication”, focusing on clear and concise information delivery.
A session on Polish culture and language was conducted by Alina Jabłońska Domurat, Coordinator of the Centre for Polish Language and Culture – POLISH LAB. The interactive workshop gave participants the opportunity to explore lesser-known facts about Poland, confront common stereotypes, practise the pronunciation of Polish sounds, and learn useful expressions.
We were delighted to once again meet inspiring people from around the world and give them a glimpse into our academic environment.
