Foreign Language Centre lecturers played in a football match for Ukraine

On Sunday, 29 May, a charity football competition “A match for a match. Play together with Jagiellonia Białystok” took place at the Bialystok City Stadium.

Fourteen teams participated in the event. Among them – a team consisting of Bialystok University of Technology staff members, including Foreign Language Centre lecturers: Wojciech Rogalski, MA and Ryszard Czarnopyś, PhD.
The competition is a part of the “MUB for Ukraine”campaign organised by the Medical University of Bialystok, in which the University’s community raises money for an ambulance, that will serve a cardiology hospital in Lviv. The cost of a new vehicle with necessary equipment amounts to about 250 thousand zloty. Each team had to pay an entry fee of 500 zloty. There is also an ongoing fundraiser, that still accepts donations.
