Erasmus+ is the EU programme for education, training, youth and sport for 2021-2027. Education, training, youth and sport are the main areas in which the personal and professional development of citizens is supported. The previous perspective of the Programme for 2014-2020 has been modernised to take into account the changing needs of participants and the current context.

High-quality inclusive education provides participants of all ages with the qualifications and skills they need to participate in a democratic society, acquire intercultural understanding and successfully enter the labour market. Projects in the 2021-2027 Programme perspective will be implemented with an increased focus on qualitative impact and contribution to building more inclusive, cohesive and green societies prepared to participate in the digital world.

Bialystok University of Technology has participated in the SOCRATES/ERASMUS programme since the academic year 1998/99. In 2007-2013, Erasmus was part of the Lifelong Learning Programme (LLP).

Mobility and International Agreements Unit is responsible for the preparation of bilateral agreements, the arrangements for their implementation and the monitoring and coordination of international academic exchanges of students and staff of the University.

Over the years hundreds of students, as well as academic staff, have benefited from the opportunity to go abroad with the help of our Office. A large number of foreign students and teachers come to our University every year.

Every year, our Office organises Erasmus+ Days informational days for students in the enrolment period, language courses for students, meetings for foreign students coming under as part of the programme and publishes publications promoting the programme.

Students returning from the scholarship confidently say that the student exchange is an amazing adventure and an opportunity to get to know interesting places, people, their culture and the basics of a new foreign language. Studying abroad gives the opportunity to discover one’s own abilities and overcome weaknesses. The student gains experience that cannot be gained in any other way.
