European Solidarity Corps

Volunteering Projects at Bialystok University of Technology

In 2025, Bialystok University of Technology is implementing two group volunteering projects under the European Solidarity Corps: My Green University and My Green University 2.0.

As part of the projects, international and local volunteers support the university’s events such as International Staff Week and Erasmus Days, while also engaging in eco-friendly initiatives on campus. These include maintaining green areas, creating flower meadows, rain gardens, and green roofs – all in line with the university’s sustainability strategy “My Green University”.

Across both editions of the project, 24 volunteers will take part, including 6 from Poland and Bialystok.

  • Developing social and professional competences – experience in teamwork, event organization, and promoting social initiatives.
  • Fostering solidarity – engaging both local and international communities in joint actions for the campus and the common good.

Participants are expected to demonstrate:

  • openness, creativity, and proactivity,
  • teamwork skills and responsibility,
  • English language proficiency sufficient for communication,
  • tolerance, good organizational skills, and readiness to follow project rules,
  • willingness to learn and take part in training sessions.

Additionally, it is welcome if participants have:
