Join us for Spanish Day at Bialystok University of Technology!

The organisation of Spanish Day at our university aims to introduce the academic community to the language, culture, and traditions of Spain—a country that is among the top destinations chosen by our students and staff for Erasmus+ exchanges. We hope that this event will provide an opportunity to discover the beauty of this country and strengthen the positive relations between Spain and Poland.

During Spanish Days, there will be language workshops to enhance cognitive, interpersonal, and cultural skills, along with cooking sessions, music, and dance activities.

At the event’s inauguration, representatives from the Embassy of Spain in Poland and the Cervantes Institute in Warsaw, as well as officials from Białystok and our university authorities, will be present.

The evening part of the event in NieTeatr theatre will be hosted by Conrado Moreno, a popular presenter and actor with Polish-Spanish roots, known from TV shows like “Europa da się lubić” and “Dancing with the Stars”.

11:15 – Panel: “Polish-Spanish cooperation between universities – is it worth it?” – presentation of the results of the collaboration so far and an online discussion with partner universities in Spain

12:00 – Presentation by the representative of the Cervantes Institute in Warsaw on exams and certificates proving Spanish language proficiency, DELE Exams Coordinator Ernesto Puertas Moya

12:15 – Spain with the Erasmus+ Programme – experiences from student exchange within the Erasmus+ Programme; Anita Jurkowska, student of the Faculty of Computer Science, BUT
