I love PB – new installation on our campus

23-05-2024

On May 28, we will unveil an installation on our campus – spatial letters forming the slogan “I love PB”. (PB = Politechnika Białostocka = Bialystok University of Technology)
The trend for commemorative photos next to giant inscriptions has been picked up by cities around the world. The capital of Podlasie has its “Bialystok” inscription, and now so have we!

So far, our space has lacked an attractive accent identifying BUT for younger generations, which would serve as a backdrop for photos for all students, but not only. We hope that the sign will be a great promotion of the university among Erasmus students, official delegations from partner universities, but also residents of the city and socio-economic environment.

The unveiling of the inscription will take place on May 28, 2024 at 12:00 pm in front of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering building. You are invited to participate in the ceremony, which will be attended by prof. Marta Kosior-Kazberuk, Rector of Bialystok University of Technology, University Authorities, our Offices, and academic community.

As part of the “I love PB” campaign, we invite you to join our contest! All you have to do is publishing on university FB page a photo of you in front of “I love PB” sign in an creative way – at sunset, surrounded by friends, from an interesting perspective – let your creativity run free! Photos with the most likes win prizes.

1st place – prize set: towel, T-shirt, measuring tape, wooden creative game, pen
2nd place – prize set: glass water bottle, t-shirt, wooden creative game, pen
