Regional EURAXESS network soon in Podlaskie Voivoidship

By decision of the National Agency for Academic Exchange (NAWA), Bialystok University of Technology will receive funding for the implementation of the project ‘The scientific future of Podlasie – EURAXESS in action’.

The project will be coordinated by our university in partnership with the University of Białystok and the Medical University of Białystok as part of the ‘NAWA-EURAXESS Network’ programme – an initiative supporting regional cooperation networks of scientific institutions and organisations working for foreign scientists and their families. The programme’s objectives include developing an attractive research environment in Poland, promoting the EURAXESS network and strengthening inter-institutional cooperation in individual regions of the country. The project ‘The Scientific Future of Podlasie – EURAXESS in Action’ is in line with these objectives: the main objective of the project will be to establish a regional Euraxess network and create a friendly environment for researchers in the Podlaskie Province, as well as to support the career development and mobility of doctoral students and researchers, which will ultimately increase competitiveness and strengthen the position of Podlaskie universities and science on the international market. In addition, the implementation of the project will contribute to the achievement of the specific objectives of the programme, including increasing the participation of Polish higher education and research entities in the European EURAXESS network. The City of Białystok and the Podlasie Border Guard Unit have also declared their support for the network’s activities.
