INTERLAB+ cultural workshop for students

We invite students for INTERLAB+ workshop on cultural awareness which will be conducted on 22.11.2024, from 8 am till 3 pm in the Faculty of Computer Science.
Workshop Goals:
- Understanding the Impact of Culture on the Individual
- Discover how the culture you come from shapes your perception of others, influences daily decisions, and affects how you are perceived in a new country.
Developing Intercultural Competencies - By working in groups with people from diverse cultures, you will gain skills that help build openness and respect toward cultural diversity.
Understanding Cross-Cultural Dynamics - You will learn to recognize both your own and others’ thought patterns, and understand how stereotypes and biases can impact collaboration between people with different cultural background
- Support in Adapting and Reducing Acculturation Stress
- Gain an understanding of acculturation stress, its impact on learning and communication, and acquire effective strategies to manage the challenges of living in a new country.
Enhancing Intercultural Communication Skills - Through practical exercises, you will develop essential skills for effective communication and collaboration in an international academic environment.
These workshops are an opportunity to exchange experiences with other students, develop skills useful in everyday life, and gain a deeper understanding of yourself in the context of a new country.
