Information clause on data processing by Bialystok University of Technology for the purposes of QS ranking

Administrator’s information in relation to data processing – pursuant to Art. 13 (1) and (2) of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and repealing Directive 95/46 / EC (hereinafter referred to as GDPR).

  1. The Administrator of your personal data is Bialystok University of Technology, at 45A, Wiejska street, 15-351 Bialystok (hereinafter referred to as the Administrator).
  2. Pursuant to Art. 37 (1) (a) GDPR, the Controller has appointed the Data Protection Inspector whom you may email: iod@pb.edu.pl, in matters relating to the processing of your data.
  3. We will process your personal data on the basis of your consent – Article 6(1)(a) of the RODO in order to participate in the Bialystok University of Technology’s participation in the QS World University Rankings.
  4. The recipients of your personal data will be the QS World University Rankings and entities authorized by law.
  5. Your personal data will be stored until the consent is withdrawn or the purpose ceases to exist.
  6. You have the right to access the content of your data and, subject to the law, you have the right to: rectification of data, deletion of data, restriction of data processing, data portability, to object to the processing of personal data, to revoke the consent you have given. When you consider that the processing of personal data violates the generally applicable regulations in this regard, you have the right to lodge a complaint to the supervisory authority. In Poland this is the Head of the Office for Personal Data Protection.
  7. Providing personal data is voluntary, however, it is necessary in order to participate in the survey. The consequence of not providing them will be the inability to participate in the survey.
  8. The administrator does not process the provided personal data in a way that involves automated processing, including profiling.
