Modern Mathematics Teaching and Artificial Intelligence — Conference at Białystok University of Technology

On 12 September 2025, Białystok University of Technology hosted the ‘Modern Mathematics Teaching and Artificial Intelligence’ conference. The event was part of the 21st National Conference on Mathematics Teaching at Technical Universities and brought together 72 participants from 22 technical universities across Poland.
Experts from institutions such as the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Gdańsk University of Technology, the Wrocław University of Science and Technology, the University of Warsaw and many others took part.
The conference covered a range of topics, including:
– the role of mathematics in engineering education;
– the challenges and opportunities of integrating artificial intelligence (AI) into mathematics teaching and learning;
Modern teaching methods, including the use of digital tools and visualisation;
A discussion panel entitled ‘Artificial Intelligence in Teaching and Learning Mathematics’ was held during the event. Professor Dorota Mozyrska, the coordinator of the MAESTRO-AI project, participated in the panel and presented the MAESTRO project, sharing its results.
