Artificial intelligence will help to teach mathematics and programming

How can artificial intelligence help teach students mathematics and programming? – The Maestro AI project is the answer to this question.

Prof. Dorota Mozyrska, Dean of the Faculty of Informatics at Bialystok University of Technology, talks about the details.

– Maestro is a kind of musical, quite artistic, a bit of fun, playing with AI, the ability to ask questions well, prompting, in order to extract from artificial intelligence properly provided assistance in a given area of knowledge,’ explains Prof. Dorota Mozyrska, Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science at the Białystok University of Technology.

As part of the Maestro AI project, two textbooks will be created – the first one related to mathematical subjects and the second one to the basics of programming on sample applications, with a collection of texts, tasks and questions. The books will also be available on an e-learning platform.

– We would like to use the tools to teach students to take a critical look at what artificial intelligence solutions offer. Whether we want it or not, the situation is as it is – these tools are at hand everywhere, and we use them ourselves, says Prof. Dorota Mozyrska.
